Bangkok 2009 Part I
Day 1:
My yearly trip to Bangkok was by my fav budget airline Jetstar. But it was quite an unhappy experience right from the start due to the poor service of the staff at the check in counter. Anyway I scolded her upside down, blame on her luck to serve me. haha
Breakfast at Burger King cheered me up quite a bit, and of cos the poor boyfriend got to cheer me up too otherwise he will be getting shit from me when we are on the plane.
All of us slept our way throughout the 2.5 hours.
We paid the taxi driver 600 baht to send us to our hotel. Knowing that he's trying to rip us off but we are left we no choice as we can only take big cabs in order to put all of our luggages in (mine is the biggest). Well, its better than taking 2 cabs I guess.
Bangkok Boutique Place is really value for money. Though the lobby and lift is really small but the room is rather spacious and clean.

We only managed to finish 3 levels in 4 hours and we had to leave for dinner
For once I took a good look at the surroundings ard Platinium Mall with X'mas atmosphere in the air.
Took a cab to Somboon with the cab driver trying to be funny and tried to recommend other seafood restaurants, and then figured out that I'm not someone to be messed with and brought us to Somboon minus his nonsense.
Somboon was much much crowded than the other time I was there.
A must visit place in Bangkok for cheap and good seafood!
It's only approx SGD15 PAX including drinks and its a restaurant!
JB also approx SGD15 pax for seafood but in a hawker centre.
After our satisfied dinner, we went Suan Lum Night Market which marks the end of our Day 1 :)
My buys for Day 1
Didnt buy much but quite happy that I managed to buy some office wear at Platinium Mall
I like the slouchy blouse though jeff kept asking me not to buy it
My intention was to buy the purple card holder as a gift but ended up buying the pink one for myself though I already have a cardholder but its really too pretty to resist!
Love the pink bimbotic phone pouch which fits my N97 perfectly!
Bought more petite coat for back up (more is always better)
Time to sleep, its 1am now.
Have already sorted and uploaded photos to photobucket for Day 2 but i'm too tired to blog now.

Embarking my journey to the Land of Smiles
I'm all set and ready to fly to Bangkok, can't wait even though the excitement only came today as I was caught up with a lot of work (and still left with a lot of work).
Luggage packed and once again I think I'm bringing too much clothes. Can't really decide what to wear and packed extra 2 sets so that I have variety.
I guess I will be wearing flip flop throughout the whole trip apart from the pair of flats that I will be wearing to Changi Airport. I miss my flip flopsssss!
Changed SGD500 and i so doubt that it will be enough and so i'm bringing SGD300 cash along just in case. I hope I won't be using my card *keeping fingers crossed*
(All meals and transport expenses will be paid by jeff's parents which means that all my money can be used for shopping. yay!)
I've stop taking orders for shopping request so do not squeeze in any order UNLESS YOU THINK YOU ARE REALLY CLOSE TO ME, otherwise just drop the idea.
I'm drooling as I'm thinking about lunch at A&W and Soomboon seafood for dinner tmr night, yum.
13 more hours and I will be on my way to Bangkok.

Agnes B love
I haven't plan my Bangkok itinerary and I hope I can clear my work before I fly so that I can enjoy my holiday in peace.
I think i'm going to try out healthland spa this time round, any idea which outlet is the nearest to central or to any shopping mall?
I wanna get well before my trip but the traces of blood found in my mucus and phlegm made me wonder if its going to happen.

(DSLR is too big and bulky for me, and I doubt I will know how to use the manual functions)
I like my new baby cos it has auto function! and it has 10 x optical zoom and its one of the smallest semi-pro cam in the market. Totally dropped my idea of Lumix LX3 since its an old model and its only 4 x optical zoom.
And the main reason is : It's a Sony! (my 3rd Sony camera)
I shall go running tmr evening since my running plan failed as I'm down with slight fever and flu after I woke up from a nap this afternoon.
Caught Case 39 at AMK Hub yesterday. (Went Mellben for crabs after that. Yum)

X'mas is approaching and I've sort of prepared my x'mas shopping list but without any idea what to buy. The Satellite gf's bday is approaching and I got no clue what to get for her too (wanna drop me some hints?)
KittyLab + Jewel Box Snowlight Show
Couldn't believe it that I'm a kitty fan at this age, and I pulled the poor boyfriend along for the exhibition despite the rather expensive ticket price of $38 - 10% discount.
We were given a kittylab lanyard and the boyfriend was sporting enough to wear it tog with me.
It's quite an interesting exhibition and I think the boy enjoyed some of the games as much as I do. haha.

I hereby wanna say a big thank you to my dearest boyfriend who brought me to KittyLab knowing that I would be disappointed if I miss it.
(but i'm sure u had your fair share of fun there too. heh)

Another outdated post - Snowlight Show at Mount Faber Jewel Box
It was a random Friday night 2 weeks back that we went Mount Faber for the snowlight show at Jewel Box.
The x'mas decor there is really pretty
The fake snow and it lasted for about 20mins
It made me wanna spend a white xmas next year!

My new love
Isn't it cute? its really too small to play properly, but i'm still lovin it!
The boyfriend entertained me and played a 2-player game with me just because I want to have a hands-on experience with my new tiles. heh
The game was filled with excitement even though we didn't play with money.
Both of us didn't want to lose cos the loser will have to do whatever the winner says.
Guess who won in the end? :p

Guess I can't keep presents for too long, esp sth which the other party will really like.
and I got one for myself too to put my iTouch.
There's a small compartment which can hold my earphone.
